The facility is used by the music and arts programs throughout the school district as well as being rented by other schools and organizations throughout the Gila Valley. Over the past 11 years, thousands of patrons have been entertained, educated, thrilled and inspired in this beautifully designed and elegantly accommodating facility enjoying a broad range of programming, including an array of all genres of music - jazz, country, adult contemporary, comedy, family programming and many other special events.

The Center for the Arts was built to serve the greater good of the school and the community. We are committed to the importance of the arts having a place in the lives of all people. We seek to provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn about and experience the arts. Our mission is to provide quality performing and visual arts programs that reflect the needs of a diverse community; and to raise funds to support programs and future needs of the Center for the Arts.

— Message from the Director —

Dear Patrons and Partners of the Center For the Arts,

The success of the CFA, a non-profit organization, would not be possible without the partnerships between the Safford Unified School District and our community leaders, businesses, service organizations, sponsors and most of all, you our patrons. These partnerships and your support have kept the CFA alive and able to continue delivering services to the community even during a challenging economy. We are deeply grateful to each of you for recognizing the impact of arts and education on the quality of life and the need for appropriate facilities here in the Gila Valley.

We hope you and your entire family have enjoyed attending the variety of shows and performances at the CFA and we look forward to seeing you at our next exciting show.
